Amatino was originally built as a classic
farm house on two floors. The ground level features a large living room and
a dine-in country kitchen, and also has 2 bedrooms and a bath at the
back.
The internal stairs take you to the upper floor
with 3 more bedrooms,
and 2 full baths.
The downstairs also has a shaded pergola
next to the kitchen, that is the perfect place for al fresco dining.
At the 10m x 5m large pool you'll find a
paved terrace with pool
furniture and a pergola for shade. The grassy grounds are well
maintained, and there is ample space to park several cars.
The village is about 4 kilometers away,
or about 2 and a half miles. The single lane access road has a few
steeper section and curves, but it's easily doable for even a moderately
experienced driver. Hill-top locations always require some
curvy drives to reach them and this is a typical access road for a
hill-top villa in Tuscany
The village has all the basics, 2 grocery
stores, a butcher, a post office, and a pizzeria. Many good
restaurants are found in nearby towns.
Amatino is very private with no
immediate neighbors.
