This location is about 2 km from the village of Palazone
in the foothills of Cetona Mountain in southern Tuscany, with easy access for daytrips to Siena,
Cortona, Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi, Florence and even Rome. |

Fitto is a historic farm house with the
medieval tower intact. The ground floor is newly remodeled with a living
and dining rooms, a modern kitchen and an outdoor dining terrace facing
the pool. Inside and outside stone stairs lead
to the upper level bedrooms.
A covered dining area
"al fresco" is at the rear of the house, also ample parking
inside the fenced-in grounds. The house is surrounded by giant cypresses, olive
groves and panoramic views over central Italian farmland.
The village is a 5 minute drive (under
half an hour walk) to a few shops and the local restaurant-pizzeria. Fitto is private with no immediate neighbors. The
unpaved access road to the house is a
bit rough but easily drivable.
