The medieval watch tower that originally occupied this hilltop is still
seen in the thick masonry walls.
The
furnishings of the villa are a comfortable mix of modern and
traditional, the spacious interiors are tastefully
decorated. This villa is fully equipped (a/c, wi-fi) for enjoyable vacations. With
4 bedrooms and 3 baths Villa Monte accommodates 7 people.
Villa
Monte is the perfect holiday home for a family, and was rented
for the first time in the 2011 season.
The
well tended grounds are extensive, you'll enjoy views from the villa and
especially the panorama from the pool.
The
villa is protected by old cypress trees and umbrella pines. The covered pergola
on the side of the villa is a great setting for dining al-fresco, and
there's ample space to park several cars in the shade.
The property is set in the farm country with a short drive to the
villages of Palazzone and Piazze with shops and restaurants, and more
are found in the nearby towns.
Villa Monte is part of a large country
estate involved in farming and the production of wines and olive oil.
The owners speak English, and live at the main house of the estate,
about half a mile ( 700 meters) away from Villa Monte.
